Here’s a quick tutorial on how to add the social bookmarking icons to your posts (These are all of the little buttons you see at the end of a post. They allow people to add the post to Facebook, StumbleUpon, del.icio.us, etc.).

TUTORIAL
First, create your post and publish it.
Next, copy this code in its entirety:
Then, open a text editor (Notepad on windows, textedit on mac) and paste in the code you copied. You’ll want to go to Edit > Replace (or Find and Replace), and replace any instances of “xURIx” with the address of your post (this is why you had to publish it first).
Now do the same thing, and replace “xTITLEx” with the title of your post. You’ll want to put + signs in place of spaces, though (e.g. social+bookmarks+on+wordpress) so that the links work.
Finally, replace ” :: ” with “ ”
After that, select everything and copy it.
Now go back to your post and edit it. You’ll need to switch over to the code tab. Paste all this at the end of your post.
Then save your post again and you’re done.
This seems like a decent amount of work, but once you get the hang of it, it only takes an extra minute or two and it is very beneficial to the blog.
Thanks.
